Access 97 & windows ME

I hope someone can help. I need to install access 97 on
my laptop. I was running Access 2000 - totally removed it
and installed 97 in a new file folder. I took 97 off of a
OEM version of office 97 from a PC I don't use anymore.
When I try to apen Access 97 it says that I do not have a
system liscence on my laptop. Is there any way I con move
the liscence? How do I find it? I'm so so on computers.

I took 97 off of a OEM version of office 97 from a PC I don't use anymore.

Typically, an OEM license is permanently tied to the computer on which it
was originally installed and cannot be moved to another computer.
