Access has no option to import data from excel

I have Office 2002 loaded on a W2K Citrix server. Any user who logs on can
use the office Apps without issue. However, the ability to import excel files
into access is gone. When a user, running the Access application clicks
File->Get External Data->Import, in the 'Files of Type' dialogue box on the
import pop-up page, Excel is not listed. I have already tried the resolution
listed in MS Knowledge base article 303805, so I am hoping for something
different. Thanking any respondants in advance....

This is likely related to the issue discussed in
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=209805

Look for the file Msexcl40.dll on your hard drive (it should be in your
System folder), and reregister it using regsvr32.exe once you find it.

While you're at it, if you're missing other option on the import dialog, do
the same for the following files:

Msexch40.dll (Microsoft Exchange)
Msltus40.dll (Lotus 1-2-3)
Mspbde40.dll (Imprise Paradox)
Mstext40.dll (Text)
Msxbde40.dll (Dbase)
