Access with multiple windows

I have just installed Office 2002 on a Windows 2K Pro machine. Here is my
question. I have an access database that opens to a switchboard. From the
switchboard I choose a form to open. When I do this the taskbar opens a
second access window instead of just one. Is this a new feature in Office
2002. I don' t want to have 2 windows open is there an option to not have
this happen. It did not happen on Office 2000. When you close the form the
form window closes and close the window on the taskbar and you go back to the
switchboard with now 1 windows open. When ever you leave the switchboard by
going to a form or report and anything it opens another window on the
taskbar. Has anybody else had this problem.

Thanks

Hi G.,

In Tools=>Options=>View see if turning off the
[x] Windows in Taskbar setting (also available
in the other Office apps) helps.

For MS Access specific questions you may also
want to use the MS Access newsgroup (link below)
