Making this message short will be a problem but here it
goes: I have an MS Access front-end (MDE database
with /wrkgrp file) and a SQL back-end. The Access tables
are linked tables thru an ODBC connection (SQL Server).
In testing this I moved both the Access and SQL
databases. I changed the ODBC "User DSN and System DSNs"
to point to the new locations and changed the shortcut
to: "c:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE" c:\My
Documents\MS1.mde /wrkgrp \\server1\MS1.mdw
After this I relinked the tables and everything went
great. Now I needed to change everything back to
production so I changed the ODBC connections back,
changed the shortcut back and now right after typing in
my password, MS Access closes. It looks like it's going
to login but it just closes up. What is happening? I
don't see any error messages. Has anyone seen this
before? HELP!!
Thanks Terry
