Accessing the Taskfield's propertys

I'm currently attempting to create an excel document where if the text
of a task in Project is Bold, the Task name is pasted in excel; and if
the task is not bold, the Task name and start date is pasted in excel.

However i can't seem to implement a check for Bold on the text of a
task in projects vba. Any ideas?

How did the text get set to bold? Chances are, you'll have better luck using
a flag as an indicator to put the task in Excel.

I would not use the formatting in project as an indicator of anything.
Use one of the flag fields or text fields etc. to do this.
