HI I have a toolbar with some buttons this is like a dropdown o
buttons. I would like to place a text in my document and when clickin
this text I would like to activate the toolbar as if I pressed th
button. So I can click on the toolbar buttons or some place in th
document and then the the toolbar is activated and the buttons ar
shown.

can this be done and if so can anyone give me some hints :)

Thanks

Hi Lars,
I don't think this can be done in a straightforward way,
and not at all if you are looking for a bulletproof, truly
professional solution, unless your resources are almost
unlimited.
However, if you are just exploring word vba and are trying to
learn, what fantastic things, sometimes, can be done, then...
You could create an ontime macro, which checks, lets say every
3 seconds, which word the cursor is in, and perform an action,
depending on that. You wouldn't have to click at all, just
move the cursor and wait a moment. Surely just an exercise
in programming, nothing serious, and lots of unwanted side-effects.
