Activate Office - Though previously installed on another computer

I installed Office XP on my old computer. I have just recently bought a new
computer and now I have installed Office XP onto my new laptop. When I went
to activite, it wouldn't let me as I had activated to software on another
computer.

What do I do? Can I transfer from my old comp to my new laptop?

Hi Jojo,

Assuming that your Office XP is a retail edition (licensed to an individal) and not an OEM (licensed to a specific machine) edition
then use the telephone activation method to explain the situation to an Activation technician.
