Activation issue

We bought MS Office Student and Teacher Edition and installed on a new
desktop and laptop. We are now returning the desktop but don't want to lose
that activation. Can we salvage it and transfer it to our "new" desktop?

Armo,
Uninstall Office on the machine you are returning and install on new. If you
encounter a problem activating at a later date use the phone method and
explain to the operator.
Office 2003 STE allows for 3 original activations.
