add a combo box to the timesheet

Hi,

I want to add a status code field (Completed, Waiting for data,
Continue, Interrupted, etc.) in timesheet view to be entered by the
resource.

MY QUESTION: How can I add a combo box field to the Timesheet view in
Tasks page? Or a restricted field that doesn't allow any other text
than listed in the global template. Or do you have any other
suggestion?

We are using Project Server 2003; and I have tried as follows: I have
defined an Enterprise Text1 field in the Global Template which takes
restricted, certain values I have entered. (Only the given values can
be chosen from a combo box in MS Project Professional 2003)

Then I have followed the Tools - Customize _ Published Fields steps,
I added the Enterprise Text1 field to the list,
chosed the Assignment option,
checked the "Let resource change field" option,
then followed the Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments steps.

I have completed the steps for adding the field to be shown in PWA; PWA
Admin > Manage Views > Edit Timesheet

Then;
The team member can see and edit the Enterprise Text1 field in PWA >
Tasks page. However, the values are not listed in combo box as in MS
Project Professional 2003.

Derya:

As you have learned, this is simply not possible. The grid object doesn't
support it.
