add a video

I'm trying to add a video that I recorded from my digital camera to my web
page. According to FP instructions, I need to do the following: click on
Insert/picture/video. However, video is grayed out so that I cannot click on
it. Can anyone tell me why?

What's the easiest way to get my video on my web page and have everyone that
visits it see it without complications?
