add song to whole slide show

I am trying to play an audio song during the entire slide
show. When I try adding the audio track it only applies it
to the 1st slide and then only that slide will appear (the
show will not continue with its normal timings). Any
suggestions? Please!!!

The settings are different depending on the version of PPT you're using.
