adding an image

I am trying to add an image to my site. I imported it to
the clip art gallery, and it looks like its supposed to
there, but when I insert it into my page, it comes up
black and white and the text is too blurry to read. And
the original image has a white background, and I would
like to change it so it blends in with my theme
background. Can anyone give me some advice as to how to
fix this? Also, how do I move images that are already on
my site. I'm really spoiled with MS Word's image
manipulation toolbar, I am hoping its as easy to do on
Frontpage. Once the image is on my site, does it
automatically show up in my images folder, or do I have to
put it there, and if so, how?
