Adding line #'s to doc

I need to add line #'s to the side of my documents and need to have it
printed as well. Can anyone tell me how to add the line #'s?

File | Page Setup | Layout tab, Line Numbers button, enable "add line
numbering"

Please check the help files before posting a question, it will save
you ALOT of time waiting for replies ("add line number")
