Adding two cells, but

I want to add two cells together, but I want to cap the
displayed value at 80. So in other words if I have two
cells, one with 20 and the other with 58, then it should
display, 78, but if those same to cells are 25 and 60 I
want the displayed value to only show 80. I hope that
make sense.

Is this possible to do?

=IF(A1+B1>=80,80,A1+B1)

Try this formula:
=IF(SUM(B4:C4)>80,80,SUM(B4:C4))

=MIN(80,A1+B1)
