additional columns, calculate finish day

Hello

I use columns (Work, % work complete, Start task, Finish task) for
machine.
The day of finished task is calculated automatically.

In the same raw I'd like to add the same columns (work-number of hours,
% work complete, start, finish) for man which writting a programme for
machining. The name of programmer, % work complete and start date I will
type in project manually, finish day must bel calculated automaticcaly.

I add that 1machine works 24ht per day, second 16ht per day, part of
machines works in saturday and sundey. programmer works 8ht per day,
5day in week, ALWAYS.

How to do it? Which fileld names I shuld use? How calculate finish
date?

Regards

No, I haven't.

I put: programmer (text10) - it;s OK
ht (duration1)
start date (start2)
finish date (finish2) - i'd like that ms project calculate
it automatically

I use formula for finish2 column: [Start2]+[Duration1]. The result
of it is:

duration1 start2 finish2
2 d 10-02-16 _18-01-05_
3 d 10-02-16 _21-12-15_
5 d 10-02-16 _29-11-03_
6 d 10-02-16 _33-10-13_
5 d 10-02-16 _29-11-03_
2 d 10-02-16 _18-01-05_

The date of finish2 is wrong? From where it's ??

Why aren't you using Project as designed to do these computations?
That's what Project was designed to do. I would advise you that if you
can't get Project to do what you want, then you should model your
process in some other software. You'll be always fighting Project if you
try to "bend it to your will".

I looked at your file. You have assgined no formula or anything to the
field [Finish1]. I concluded this by looking at the properties of this
field in Menu: Tools/Customise/Fields and looking at [Finish1]

Instead of working out how to build your own algorithm for computing
finish date, I urge you to look into how Project will compute for you
finish dates and put the results into the standard field [Finish].

Sorry, but I can't help to make an algorithm to compute finish dates as
I don't have enough time in my day to figure it out. I instead use
Project and let it do the work and reserve my thinking reources for
other things! :)
