I'm new to Mac and Entourage, so forgive me if the answers to these
questions are kind of obvious.

1) It looks like there are only two basic formats in which to print out the
Address Book: Address Book and Phone List. In the Address Book format, I
can only get a few names on a page, and there's a lot of wasted space. Is
there any way (as there is in Outlook for the PC) to print the names in two
or three columns per page?

2) Is there some way to delete the large space between the name and the
address. I'm trying to squeeze all my names into fewer printed pages.

3) Can I keep one person's contact info from stretching across two pages
(i.e., have page breaks come only after an entire entries, and have the next
page start with a new entry)?

4) Are there custom formats somewhere that will allow me to greatly
customize how Address Book prints out, or am I stuck with just what appears
in the basic Print options?

Thanks in advance.

Last month Paul Berkowitz said:
" In the Print dialog that comes up, switch the popup from Address Book to
Phone List. That will save some space, anyway. You can also click Layout to
remove some field if you want to, Form popup to choose Franklin cards and
other formats instead of full pages, and Edit to reduce margins and other
white space. If you do most o that, you should be able to cut down the
empty areas quit a bit. Phone List is the one that will save you most. "

There is apparently also a free Address Book List script by Paul that offers
options. Search at
http://scriptbuilders.net/

There is also the possibility of using Data Merge in Word to pull and format
the data, which I mention only because I know Word better than I do
Entourage, and no one else has answered.

Searching for print and address in the ng archives brings up quite a bit
which may be useful:
