Adjusting my received Field

Good Day,

Where I work I want to be able to group by date for a
certain folder, so that there are diffrent expandeble
trees for emails I received per date.

However, all of the fields that have any relevance to the
date received also includes the time meaning it will give
me a diffrent drop down menu for every single email
(making it the exact same as before except for an extra
click).

I figure I either need to get a field that does not
include the time or adjust the existing fields to include
only the date and not the time. Any suggestions on this?

Outlook 2003 has this capability by choosing View-> Arrange By-> Date and
select the Show in Groups option

It is Outlook 2000, not 2003.
