Advance Bulleted Text

I have 8 bulleted text items in a text box. I would like to show the
first four - then on a mouse click, the first item would advance out of
the text box (disappear!) and the next item would appear at the bottom
in the text box (appear!), etc.

To state it differently, imagine credits scrolling in a window on the
slide. But, each text line must advance only on a mouse click.

Could this be done? Thanks.

It depends on the PowerPoint version you are using. Exit animations are
only available in PPT 2002 and 2003.

Should the second item advance to the position of the first? Then you'll
have to combine it with Animation Paths (also available only in newer PPT
versions).

Kind regards,
Ute

I don't think I want the items to EXIT. More accurately, I want the
item to 'scroll' within the text box - then have a new item appear.

Peter,

the animations "Crawl" are available to make a whole textbox creep in or out
of the slide. You can place your lines of text in separate text boxes and
use this.

But if you only want to move the text box up a bit to make the first line
move out of the box and the next one in from the bottom, you should apply a
short, vertical animation path.

Kind regards,
Ute
