Advanced Find in outlook aborts application

Operating System: Windows XP
Microsoft Office professional 2000/Office 2000 for
Windows XP
Q. Whenever I attempt to use the advanced find function in
outlook, outlook shutdown/aborts. Has anyone experience
this problem and if so what was the fix?
