After spell check says its complete i still have misspelled words.

I have office for mac and in a particular word doc it won't spell check the
whole document . the part it won't check was composed some time ago. did I
secure it from spell check some how ? if so how do a get to it now.

Most likely that text is formatted as "(no proofing)." Select all the text
in the document (Ctrl+A) and go to Tools | Language | Set Language. Make
sure that the appropriate language is selected and that the box for "Do not
check spelling or grammar" is clear.

Thank you Ms barnhill I couldn,t find a box for "do not check spelling or
grammer" however I clicked default and it said do you want to change to
english [although english us was selected and so i clicked yes i want th
select english and presto it started spellchecking . I'll be glad when the
presto feature goes away in software thanks again
