Alert:Command can't execute when a dialogbox is opening

chinese edition : when I double click a .doc file, Word 2003 pop up a alert
box :Command can't execute when a dialogbox is opening. why? and how can I
disable it?

This is usually caused by the Norton AV Office plug-in which allows dialog
boxes to open behind the application. Disable the plug-in from Norton.

Thank you. but I didn't install the NAV. perhaps because of Adobe acrobat
reader?
