aligning text boxes

When you have text boxes and pictures on a page, how do you align the text
and pictures horizontally so that everything lines up.

Also, Arrange > Align or Distribute

Hello Ed and Don, I am doing with for the first time and am not acqainted
with how this siscussion works, but I am bring in text from Word and although
the photos appear, where is the text box or caption? I can't find in under or
over. Help please? Nancy
