aligning text in a text box or shape

R

When typing in a text box or shape, text does not start next to the border of
the text box. It is as if there was an indent. Changing the distance to
margin does not help.

There is an internal margin within text boxes. This setting is controlled
by selecting the textbox => Format => Format Textbox (or whatever the shape
type was that you selected) => Text box (tab) => Internal margins.

Does this get rid of the extra space?
