How would Office know that YOU had put the password on the file? How would
this not circumvent all (albeit rather weak) password protections on Office
files if you could just willy-nilly ask Office to email you the password.
Number 2, how would you propose that Office obtain your email address if you
don't use Outlook, as many do not for mail, just calendar and contacts?
When would Office know it was time to send the password to the user? 3
attempts? 10 attempts?
What you are proposing is a security nightmare. I, for one, hope this never
goes into effect.
