Alternative Folders that Outllok Today dominates

D

Duncan Williamson

I have been using Office XP for a long time now and have
happily been sending and receiving my messages to and
from a "Personal Folders" folder on my system. I also
have an "Outlook Today - [Personal Folders]" folder but
never used it ... until last week and now it is wreaking
havoc.

Innocently, I took a look at 3Datlas (from Borland?) that
was sitting on my computer. When I activated this thing
it started by asking me if I wanted to install MS
Outlook, since I already had it installed I said no ...
it carried on regardless and put all of my settings into
the "Outlook Today - [Personal Folders]" folder.

I have tried to customise Outlook Today by telling it to
put everything into my alternative but when I reopen
Outlook I find that it has put everything back
into "Outlook Today - [Personal Folders]".

Moreover, now I can't reply to messages that went into
the "Outlook Today - [Personal Folders]" InBox and this
morning I wasn't even allowed to send a brand new message
to anyone.

I disabled Restore on my computer so that is not
available to me and I feel hugely frustrated as you can
imagine.

Any ideas anyone?
