Animate a pipe bending

I am running PP XP - is there a way that I can take a pipe or rectangle
image and bend it using animation or some other method?

Hi,

One option would be to use hidden pivot points. Maybe look at this:

The example is for images, but I have an example for PowerPoint Live that
will use lines and thin rectangles. So it is doable. Now, whether it will
make sense when people look at it is a lot more difficult.

Thanks for the link to that example - you have some very impressive
stuff on there.

I looked at the example but I can't seem to realize how to apply it to
my example. The basic situation is to take a rectangle shape and bend
it into a U or L shape with animation.

David,

Want to send me a slide? I'd be happy to have a look at your specific issue.
