Animated e-mails

When I insert and animated GIF into my e-mails, and send
them in Outlook they do not play for the recipient. What
am I doing wrong. I've tried sending it as a Word Web
document, attachment, etc. and this doesn't work either.
How do I send the e-mail so the clip art animates? Any
help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Roma

Maybe the recipients have Plain Text enabled for viewing e-mails.
