animation in slide show

I can't save an image as a gif. which means it will not animate during a presentation. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Danette,

Are you trying to create an animated gif? or animate an
image in PowerPoint? To animate the image in PowerPoint,
right click on the image and click on custom animations.
Choose the type of animations settings you want.

If you're trying to create an animated gif file, you'll
need a different piece of software. However, PowerPoint
will play animated gifs during a slide show.
