Animations and memory

Sweet Lou

Do adding text animations and clip art animations add to the file size of ppt
presentations?

Yes, everything you add to a Presentation adds to the file size.
Whether you consider it significant or not depends on you.

Save a file and check the file size. And an animation and save and
check the file size.

What they said but also.....

adding animation "using powerpoint custom animations" add's only a minimal
amount to your filesize. Not much difference to adding more text

adding "pictures" adds loads more in terms of filesize

Sort of like adding meat to your stew (clipart), or potatoes (pictures), or
salt/pepper (text/animations)!
