Any issues with installing and operating Project Server 2003 with Novel

Pete

Are there any problems or concerns I should have
installing Project Server with Novel?

Hi Pete,

Well, the single most issue that springs to mind is with WSS - since WSS
relies on Windows authentication entirely you will not be able to use it
effectively.

That does not sound good. What kind of limitations can I
expect? Are there any work arounds that I could possibly
use?

When you are not using AD with project server, you will most probably need
to use Project Server accounts. When you use Project Server accounts, the
users will not be able to connect to the WSS sites for Issues Risks, and
documents. The only feasible workaround is to use Terminal Services, and
use Windows Accounts for anyone who needs to access the system. That way,
the person logs on to a terminal server, and he can then connect to both PWA
and WSS with the local windows account on the server.

Thanks, Using WSS is all of the cool stuff with server
2003, I'll look into Terminal Services or try and
convince the powers that be to drop novel.
