Any way to convert old document?

In 1997 I created a database of our VHS Movies in Project. Recently I
wanted to look at the database but Project is not on my current PC and I
can't figure out how to read it. It will open in Excel and in Word and the
movie names are visible but it's hard to figure out which tape, track from
among all the control characters.

Can anyone give me some help on how to extract the information please?

Thank you.

Hi Smiley,

This newsgroup is specifically for matters dealing with Microsoft Project, a
scheduelling program. I suggest you try to find a more appropriate
newsgroup that deals with Office problems.

Could you please tell us what led you to chose this newsgroup? We would
really like to know! :)

Hi Mike,

I THOUGHT that Project is what I used to create it. It HAS been a few years
ago! :) It was a database manager sort of like Microsoft Access that we
use at work. If you could tell me the name of the software that I might
have used I would be thankful.

One more thing that I might try is to send the file to me at work and try to
open it in Access.

Thanks for writing back. And for your kind response.

You're welcome, Smiley :)

What type of file is it? What's the suffix?
