Append

In DOS there was a command - Append.
What it did was put a NEW file at the end of an old file
without Cut and Paste.
How do I do that is Word 2000?

Word doesn't work that way. You can use cut&paste, or use Insert >
File, or use an IncludeText field. There is no way to append one Word
document to another without using Word.

Most file-types won't take kindly to APPEND unless they have the very
simplest "linear" structure, like a plain text file, and even then you've
got to be careful with the EOF (end of file) marker.
