Appointment times

When inputting a new appointment the time box will not stay open to input
correct time. I have to keep it open with the mouse and use the keyboard
arrows to scroll down. I am using Office 2007 in both Vista nd XP. This did
occur in Vista and seems to have been corrected but not in XP?
