I need to find a relatively simple [shareware] program for book
printing/publishing. I can't seem to google it. Does anyone know of such a
program so I don't have to spend tomorrow trying to search for one too?
Thanks,
Cindy

I'm trying to find a simple (shareware) vehicle I can use to get around
town and drive across the country so I can see the Pacific Ocean. Google
didn't help me either. Gee, do you reckon some things in life aren't free?

I know! One of my resolutions for 2004 is to be nicer. Actually, I think
Open Office or Star Office might offer something that will work, but
with a lot of effort. The bad thing is, poor Cindy will probably take it
to a printer and want to know why he/she charges to have it printed.

BTW, I would still like a free car, in case someone has one sitting in
their garage. :)

Mike! That was sooooo not nice. (Funny, but not nice. Poor Cindy can't help
it if she'd rather have everyone do her work for her.)

BTW - can't help you with the car thing.

Darn the bad luck!!!

I publish a weekly community newspaper and, for better or worse, care
more about commenting on the various governments' foibles than making
friends - something about growing up in an American Legion Hall and
buying into the Bill of Rights, which has responsibilities as well as
rights. I would have a better looking bank account had I sat on my
fingers, but a lower self esteem. What can I say!!!

You know, I've tried that New Year's resolution crap. It's only good until
the next cycle of the moon. Why bother? I figure I'd rather just try to be
myself - it's so much easier. True, lots of people don't get me; some may
not even like me. that's their loss. Yes, I'm twisted and have a really
warped sense of humor but I am a good person who occasioanlly can't help but
smack somebody across the fingers if they deserve it. :)

You have to be a masochist to use Star or Ability Office.

I would like a couple kgs/lb's of shareware or freeware gold.

You need to realise that agitators are a *very* important part of society.

Regardless of your opinion towards agitators, they do make people think and
achieve change.

Hopefully my agitating will do something about all those innocent people
being held without civil trial in atrocious inhumane conditions and being
tortured and denied human rights in Guantanamo Bay. The US military are
paying the price for their sins in Iraq on a daily basis, and it shall
continue to do so. The US military must expect payback from the Iraq
people, and that is what is happening. You cannot expect to hold people
illegally without proper trail in totally inhumane conditions and torture
them and not expect payback.
The US is out of control brought about by your TV stations and the US
government in their daily campaign to cause fear and alarm in the community.
A great way of shutting up the population to atrocities caused by the US
military.

Sorry, cannot resist this thread.

Where I work people keep coming in asking me how they can
get the "free money." (If I knew that why would I be
working!)

Remember when you learned about the "survival of the
fittest" --- I think that natural law no longer applies --
it has become "the whiners are the winners"

Sheesh. M. shakes head ruefully.
