I have had an issue with spreadsheets using the "transpose function." If I use it too many times in a single spreadsheet (15 seems to be the max), Excel 2008 refuses to save the document. That is, when I try to "save as" using a new file name the program crashes. I have had this issue on several different Macs. Is there a maximum number of arrays or transpose functions that Excel can handle? The arrays I am using are typically 1 row by 10 columns.

Well, it's not a general problem - I just tried 25 1x10 Paste
Special/Transposes and had no trouble saving.

Is XL updated to 12.1.5?

Is the file a .xls or .xlsx?

Is it only the one file, or does it happen with all files?

What if you start up XL with the Shift Key down?
