ASP.NET Machine A... User Account

Howard Cross

Cheers,

I was looking through my user accounts and found one that I didn't know that
I have...? It's called ASP.NET Machine A... The O/S is XP Home.

The information displayed in the User Accounts window is that it is a
limited account that is password protected. The only thing that I've done to
this machine lately was upgrade to Office 2003. Was this something that
Office did because of the .net framework?

Is this necessary? How can I delete it?

TIA

Absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Office. This account was created by
you downloading and installing the .net framework from Windows Update.
