Hello,
I have one problem with my planning when I'm assigning
resources and getting costs. I have 5 task, imagine that
every task has 4 days of duration in the last day of each
activity it has to overlapping with the start of the next
task. The 5 task will be performed by the same resource,
the problem is at the 4th day of each activity has to
start the next task. It means that in the 4th day I will
have 1 resource performing task 1 and 2 with 50% of the
resource's time that will be on each task to get one
complete working day. In the day 8th I will be finishing
task 2 and starting task 3 just in the overlapping days
the resource will be dedicated just the 50% of his time to
each task. When I get the cost annalisys I get 4 days with
cost and hours duplicated (for the overlapping days).
Is there any way to indicate on the project that when a
resource performs more than 1 activity the project has to
calculate the percent required to each activity in order
to not exceed the 100% of availability?
Thanks,
Lou
