assigning resources

After I've entered a resource for a task on the Task Details screen, I've
tried to blank out the entry if I wanted to remove the resource but it
doesn't work.
How would I delete the resource from the task?

Jack,
One way among a lot of others :
Use the "Assign Resource" button in the tool bar and click the "Remove"
button.
Obviously, select the appriopriate task and the appropriate resource !
