Assignment Level Data in My Timesheet View

I'm working with Project Server 2007. I would like my users to be
able to see the assignment level data for a custom enterprise field be
displayed (and NOT editable) within the My Timesheet view. Note that
I have created the field based upon a lookup table with 2 values and
set the "calculation for assignment rows" to "roll down, unless
manually specified". How can I bring this assignment level data into
the My Timesheet View?

Theoretically, you simply need to add the assignment level version of the
field to the view and create a new timesheet that contains a tasks with this
data populated.

Thanks for the reply Gary!
That was my theory as well. However, only the Task Level version of
the field is available to pull into the My Timesheet view, not the
Assignment Level version of that field. The end result is that the
column (field) appears within the newly created My Timesheet view.
However, it does NOT show any data. Within the schedule, there is
assignment level data for that field, and the schedule was published.
Any other ideas?

I've encountered this before, and I'm beginning to believe that there's
something unstable in the Timesheet page's ability to display enterprise
fields. With that said, it seems to only be a problem on some systems, and I
do not know what the common denominator may be. Are you patched to recent
updates? SP2 + October or December CU?

If not, it couldn't hurt to take advantage of all current fixes before
troubleshooting this further.
