Custom Task field updates in My Timesheet

Hi,

I can not get the 'import to My Tasks' to import a custom task field that we
edit directly in My Timesheet (PWA 2007).

The only way I seem to get that field to update is if in My Timesheet I
click a task and arrive at the Assignment Details view where I can make my
edit to this custom field. After saving it, I have to import My Tasks to My
Timesheet. This unfortutely means that I can not use My Timesheet as the
primary source of time entry data. Is there a way to get the 'import to My
Tasks' to bring over edits made in the directly on the Timesheet?
