Attachment Preview for Outlook 2003

Hi,

In my job I have to scan a lot of images for processing. I use our
printer/scanner (Xerox WorkCentre Pro 238) and just email them to myself. I
then move them in Outlook 2003 to an archive folder. They always arrive
under the name "scan001.pdf" and I have a *lot* of them from the last 2 years.

Often I need to find one again. I currently use the "Categories" field
header from Field Chooser to designate a category, but it still takes a while
to find just the right one, as I have to go through each message, double
click each attachment, close it if it’s not the right one, and continue until
I find the right one.

I’ve tried many ways to handle this, and have found a shareware program
called "Explorer View File Viewer" from GetData. I found it online with a
Google search, and can be seen at
http://www.downloadjunction.com/product/software/134024/index.html.

I know this is a fairly standard feature in Office 2007, but we do not have
that yet.

Does anyone know of a better way to preview an attachment in Outlook 2003?
