I am using outlook 2002, some people on my distribution
list are unable to open word documents. They are received
as a .dat file or html. Bottom line is they cannot open
it. Is this on my end or theirs? Thanks Tom

If the recipients are not using Outlook, don't send to them in Rich Text
format -- use HTML or Plain Text instead. Their e-mail clients most
likely cannot handle the Rich Text formatting.
