authoring tab setting

In tools, page options, authoring tab, what should my
browser setting be? currently it is custom but then this
does not allow the javascript/jscript to be active. Is
this necessary for scipts to run properly?

thanks

When you change it, it is obvious what it does. Just look at the
checkboxes in the dialog.
