Auto-approval Rules and email notification

Can we use the Auto-approval rules in screening out the email notifications
which the project manager will receive from the system? We have just started
using project server 2003. The project managers wanted that they will not
receive any email notification for those updates that fulfill the
auto-approval rules which they set. Can this be done?

Your PM's can disable Notifications for each type of updates (New Task, Task
Update, Delegated Task, etc.), but not for selective task updates that meet
the Rules criteria. Sorry.
