Skip the Approvals process in PWA site

Bahram

Can we set the Microsoft project server 2007 (PWA site) for our users to
update their tasks and change the Percent completes, and get all the changes
apply automatically?
We do not want to send the updates for each task to the project
owner/manager for the approval, and we want to get all of our changes every
time that we do any changes from My tasks.
The way that we have now, it goes for approval process to the project owner,
and then when the project owner approves it , we are able to see the
updates/changes on project center. We want to set it up to get rid of the
approval process and see the changes every time that we update the task on my
task

Hi Bahram,

Each PM needs to set up a rule to AutoApprove all updates. This is done
within the Task Approvals area of PWA. Once the update is approved however,
the project needs to be re-published before the changes are reflected in the
project centre. This can be automated, either by writing your own code to do
this, or there are several tools on the market which do the same. You'd then
need to schedule the tool to publish, say once an hour, or per day.
