Auto Complete Addressing in Outlook 2000

My work laptop went in for repair and the hard drive was
replaced. Prior to this, my Outlook was using the Auto
Complete Addressing function where an email addresss would
automatically pop up while creating an email if I had used
it once before.

Does anyone know how to turn that function back on?

Something is not right here. Outlook 2000 had no autocomplete feature.
Please clarify what you meant.
