Auto complete was empty today anyone know how to fix??

I have hundreds of emails in auto complete and today when I tried to use it they were all gone. this happened to me about 3 years ago and i never found out why.

Can anyone help me please..

It happens all the time. You should expect it. The autocompletion cache was
never intended to be a substitute for Contacts. You should never use it as
such.
