Auto fit for images?

When I want to make a slide out of a screen print I have
to resize the image to make it smaller to fil on the
slide. Is there an "auto re-size to fit" setting.

Anyone have any idea?

If the layout is landscape as is the slide, this works great:

1. Click "Format", "Background".
2. Click the dropdown arrow and select "Fill Effects".
3. Click the "Picture" TAB and click the "Select Picture".
4. Browse to your picture and select it.
5. Click the "Apply" button. (if the background has graphics that you want
removed, click the "Omit..." before clicking "Apply".

The image now becomes the background of your slide. All in all it takes as
long if not longer than resizing your image, but it at least doesn't need
resizing!

Seems to me that this is a pretty big shortcoming in the

One is not related to the other, I'd assume. But, in regards to PowerPoint,
there are programs that do this function of resizing an image to fit a
pre-determined space. Try:

I think it has a tool to do what you want.
