Auto-run slide shows

In the "Scheduled Tasks" can I run PowerPoint to open a slide show, not a
ppt. I need to schedlue a show to run on a video display for each day of the
week. Each day will have an average of 4 slides in it. When I select the file
in Schedlued Tasks, it just opens PowerPoint not my slide show.

Yes, and it just opens as the program. When I save it as a pps, the file that
would open right up from my desktop if I double-clicked it, PowerPoint opens
the show in slide sorter view. Ideally I want it to open from "Scheduled
tasks" at 6am each file, each day.

Please try this: go to My Computer, locate your .PPS file, right click on it.
Do you see "Show" in the popup menu? Is it in bold type?
