Autocorrections and Macros have disappeared

I use Office XP Word 2002. Over the past couple of years, I created and
input many autocorrections in the tools area. I used these autocorrections
many many times over the past two years. Now they've all disappeared. [They
are not listed in the autocorrections list.] What happened and how do I get
them back? My macros have also disappeared. [They're not listed in the
macro list.] What happened and how do I get them back?

Did you recently change profiles on your computer?

Depending on your operating system your Normal.dot and AutoCorrect
(*.acl) file are stored under your profile. If you recently created a
new one then you also created a new Normal.dot and AutoCorrect file.
